Vantaggi
None apart from company was forced to adopt WFH during last year’s lockdown, and even then Kabir the CEO was convincing employees to take uneccessary journeys into the office - against official government advice - because he wanted to keep his eyes on productivity. (He doesn’t trust people to work from home)
Svantaggi
Lots of downsides. They don’t care about work-life balance. They want you to work evenings and weekends, and early mornings too. Kabir the CEO said if you’re looking for a 9-5 job then this job is not for you. They fired 200 people when covid19 hit, lockdown started and they decided to fire people remotely one by one. This is after Kabir the CEO said no one’s job is at risk. They then proceeded to rehire people at a lower salary and change the titles of the positions to avoid legal ramifications in the UK. Toxicity amongst Senior management is rife and it trickles down into lower level employees. MD takes joy in threatening to fire people. CEO thinks it’s funny to say things like “I could fire you all tomorrow if I wanted to, you’re lucky you have a job right now” (during the covid19 pandemic) If you want to sell your soul to a corporate American company - you’ve found the right company. Also they write their own fake glass door reviews - the good reviews are done by their HR department, they were told to do so to increase their score.
