Met some great people. Prior executive management team was great. Decent benefits package. Good health insurance. Decent work/life balance

The product is old and ownership does not want to put any money into it in order to make it competitive . The company was sold a little over a year ago and does not have capable management/practices in place. The manager they left in charge does not know anything about development, code, or best practices. Additionally he plays favorites, harasses those employees he does not like on a regular basis, and is borderline racist/sexist. Upon my termination from the company I contacted a lawyer and will be pursuing legal action against this manager and the ownership group.

Great opportunities to learn early on, great people, reasonable learning curve, nice work/life balance.

Stagnate, difficult clients, low morale, lack of clarity on the direction in which the company was going. Placing an A type micro-manager in charge of ardent individuals thriving to advance their skill sets and exhibiting an unbearable, malevolent attitude while failing to grasp the basics of the teams he was overseeing greatly contributed to the downfall of this company, not to mention his sexist, bigoted ways.
