Absolutely horrible - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso Open Hospitality

Two stars because I did have fun there when I wasn't miserable. Very casual, some people were very fun to work with, drinking is encouraged after a certain hour, stepping stone sort of job.

Hostile work environment, lack of direction, very hush-hush about where the company is heading (newsflash: it's down the tubes), tyrant-like leadership, gossip central, low-ball salary. Sad because it has the appearance of a start up (though it's been around for quite a while) but the complete lack of drive to go anywhere.

Met some great people. Prior executive management team was great. Decent benefits package. Good health insurance. Decent work/life balance

The product is old and ownership does not want to put any money into it in order to make it competitive . The company was sold a little over a year ago and does not have capable management/practices in place. The manager they left in charge does not know anything about development, code, or best practices. Additionally he plays favorites, harasses those employees he does not like on a regular basis, and is borderline racist/sexist. Upon my termination from the company I contacted a lawyer and will be pursuing legal action against this manager and the ownership group.
