Vantaggi
- You have folks starting off their careers here and those who have been with the company for 6+, 9+ years. That's fairly rare in SaaS. It's great to have those examples of both leadership and individual contributors who choose to stay. - OpenAsset has been around for a long time. This shows resiliency in the market and it's niche audience. I like that it stays true to it's original value proposition to the AEC space. - Leadership thinks about growth of the company carefully. I've hired and helped hire quite a few folks in the past few years I've been here, but not at all like other SaaS companies with large seed money do. It's thoughtful and steady growth - which is appreciated. - The 'start-up feel' of the company is there socially. Teammates are professional, caring, but also casual. It's a laid back atmosphere focused on getting things done and folks are always willing to help each other out.
Svantaggi
Less of a con, and more of a heads-up - is that OpenAsset has been around for a long time. Modernizing internal tools needs to continue to be a priority. This is not an environment for individuals who aren't willing to live in two worlds: one world consists of brainstorming and giving feedback for the future and the other is to continue working with the current tooling and processes we have in place. While leadership is aware and listens for these needs, new resources and tooling do take time, and this can sometimes frustrate individual contributors.
