It is what it is. You get paid minimum wage to do something that is at least slightly above the grade of work you'd expect of a minimum wage job (and definitely more dangerous), but it's fixed hours and most of the drivers were able to finish a couple hours ahead of time. Depending on the route, it could be pretty compatible with a night job, and definitely compatible with a day job if you take a night route. I think everyone gets paid on federal holidays.

Pretty much every van in the company is irrevocably and dangerously broken, and won't get replaced for bizarre reasons. Throwing thousands of dollars in repairs at vans with 300,000 miles on them when you can get a used one with 100,000 miles for the cost of one or two repairs is pretty odd. And as a result, the vans become extremely dangerous in the winter.
