- Optiv has a great story to tell. Its purpose, vision, and values are respected. - The company and industry provide opportunities for growth - Executive leaders openly recognize achievement and recognize opportunities for improvement - Culture is overall positive - I have met a lot of very talented people who demonstrate this organization is on the path to achieving its vision - I do not often hear legacy employees mentioning Accuvant or Fishnet, which says quite a bit about the culture of merging two companies - Work from home office option if business needs allow - I'm quite happy with my team, my direct Manager, my manager's Director, and our group's VP

- Optiv is a sales-driven organization, which tends to negatively impact operational maturity and client experience but also provides individuals with opportunities to help balance the fulcrum - As I meet colleagues from other functional groups, it has become clear there are inconsistencies on individuals' experience and many of these experiences are directly related to the quality of their direct leadership. This causes me to take pause when considering open positions outside of my current functional group. - The organization continues to experience pain when attempting to get different functional groups to work together on some of the most basic levels, such as which system(s) to use and how to communicate with each other. This has a direct impact on our effectiveness and efficiency. While tremendous efforts and resources have been expended to address this, the organization is now entering year two of combined operations and these issues need to be resolved. It seems like RACI is often missing from the conversation. - While HR continues to promote the idea that Optiv's benefits and compensation package is on par with their industry peers, there is opportunity to do better.
