You are guided, but it is still up to the individual to find the best way to apply his/her skillset and interest to have a largest impact - There can be ambiguity in how the company assesses contribution as it tries to balance results vs quality of ideas/process - US only has a Chicago office, but there are plans to expand geographically to other major tech and financial hubs
