There are really too many to list. The burnout in my department was severe. Unbeknownst to me, there was a mass exodus of turnover before I started in my department. And while there, in less than a year, five people left. I spoke with many people including managers trying to find some solution, but unfortunately it fell upon deaf ears. More people are leaving and turnover is inevitable unless they really look inward at the red flags and try to make some positive change. No salary was worth the toxic environment.
