Thanks for the feedback, I think! Our clients pay us a reasonable fee to find them the 'ideal' candidate , which is why we offer guarantees of up to two years; no one else does that. Yes, we do take our time; that's what our clients and candidates expect. Which is why we've been around for 30 years. Maybe we are a bit 'old fashioned', but we use latest tech to source great candidates in which is currently a difficult/candidate short market. We do not chuck mud at the wall; we use psychometric profiling and try to meet all candidates face to face. This takes time. Many client have been with us over 25 years.
I think your comments about a lack of leadership are/were appropriate, I lost my Mum at the end of 2017 after a protracted illness and had taken my eye off the ball. I was out a great deal at the care home and later the hospital. I certainly could have been a much better manager. I have been working with Karen to improve my 'management style'.
I hope that, in some way, whoever you are, you learnt something at Orchard. Always frustrating when I discover that we were only a 'short term role' for you. As employers, we have to accept that not everyone is a 'long term prospect'. I find it strange that you have taken 15 months to post your comment....
