      None, there is really no reason to come work in claims with this organization.

      Work load is extremely high and not manageable. Executives are out of touch with the employees and don't care if you are overworked. To quote an executive "There is no limit on the amount of claims one can expect to receive and you handle all the claims that are in your territory" This means that the claims are not spread evenly throughout the teams. One team can be receiving 4x the amount of claims while another team is receiving one claim a week. The teams do not work together to help manage work loads. Management could help with this issue, but there is no teamwork throughout the claims organization so that's not going to happen. Small company that truly doesn't value their employees.

Our claims workloads are monitored closely in accordance with our company standards, measured compared to industry benchmarks and re-balanced regularly.       I enjoyed my time at Oregon Mutual, the people were especially pleasant and my team was well organized and full of hard workers. Working with other employees was a joy and I felt well respected and well liked by my colleagues and team members.

      There was a lot of uncertainty moving into the future for the company, so it was a tough time, but it's just company changes which happens everywhere.

      Before the multiple layoffs and merge with another insurance company there were amazing people who worked there.

      Blindsided layoffs, terrible communication, workload after those let go too high, no clear guidance, no future.
