Vantaggi

Interacting with tons of different clients and executing a variety of events on a weekly basis. Great for high energy individuals or those with capabilities of running "their own show." Successful candidates will be working out of home (compensated). Note: Busy season is September - November.

Svantaggi

NOT an entry level position. Note the company is located in Vancouver. Extensive interview process (avg. 5 weeks, 7 stages); which can be considered invasive to personal life. Extensive travel involved. Little training prior to being put on the field. Managers are known to "throw you into the fire". Only so much support can be offered through remotely. Poor "compensation/benefits package" Work week is Monday to Sunday. Very invasive on personal life. Very high turnover throughout entire company. No job security.

Vantaggi

The work itself is rewarding

Svantaggi

The company is penurious to a fault, pushing the entire burden on facilitators. Meanwhile, if there is a huge event with hundreds of people, the company makes way more money... and the work load of the facilitator goes through the roof... The sales people make more money, and the company makes more money... The only person who doesn't make more money is the person who is doing all the extra work - the facilitator. Meanwhile, customers would ask how to give a tip, and half the time the sales team wouldn't follow up (because what's in it for them?). Talk about a de-motivating business model.
