This work environment is absolutely dismal and TOXIC. Employee categories are basically the following: 1. Great hard working employees who are miserable because they are under-appreciated and definitely under-compensated 2. People who are lazy, slow to understand processes, and people who can't be bothered to work efficiently or correctly 3. New onboards who are not properly trained yet walk around with huge egos. They are unteachable and refuse to show ownership for their job responsibilities It is amazing that people could work here for over 6 months and still not comprehend the scope of their job ppl OR how to properly do their jobs. Even worse is there are people who have been there for over 5 years and seem to do absolutely nothing. Their team members are expected to pitch in during their "busy season" while they spend their days on personal phone calls and leave early. Upper management is non-existent. They make a lot of noise trying to show that the company is becoming a more professional and corporate environment, but these are all just a lot of smoke and mirrors. They put into place a "creed" of sorts to encourage their employees to share concerns, insights, and suggestions. When employees do voice concerns, they are personally attacked very unprofessionally and it is held against them. It is not a productive or positive environment which eventually breaks everyone's spirits. Workflow here is archaic. Whenever a decision needs to be made, there will be at least 5 meetings- each of which will yield no resolution. At the end of the day, it may take weeks before simple decisions can be in place. Beyond that, there is definitely preferential treatment for a specific religious group with special allowance for early dismissals and holidays off which are not counted against accumulated PTO balance. These are offered to those who practice as well as those who "pretend" to practice. The overall environment is ridiculous. Between the mini geyser of sewage spewing up in the kitchen sink, to the disgusting conditions of the fridge and bathrooms it is evident that the people who work here no longer respect the space, or just don't care enough to even bother. People dress like they are going clubbing, whether it is age appropriate is a whole other level of discomfort, but it definitely is not workplace appropriate attire. It is a great casual dress code, but bandage dresses/microskirts/crop tops definitely crossing the line by a mile. People management is non-existent. People are rude, unprofessional, and at times physical yet there is no order or control.
