Smaller teams mean we all wear many hats and need to make big things happen with minimal budgets. Org may not be as quick to react to market signals as it needs to be.

Toxic workplace due to poor management and leadership. Someone with a leadership role and management role, is effecting the whole workplace environment. They are unable to delegate work properly and they are a major micromanager and control freak. Staff at a lower level are treated poorly and disrespectfully as a result. Due to this person's output and high profile position, the company is unwilling/unable to do anything about it. It's unfortunate because most of the staff is amazing. They have lost a lot of admin and accounting professionals due to this role.
