Company acquires small companies, vows to “try to keep everyone” then in waves lays off those workers. Give you two days left of benefits when they do lay offs. Invite you in to a mass meeting where attendees are muted and lay everyone off with some vague meeting title “Organizational Updates”. Upper management will pretend you don’t exist, fail to give kudos to your accomplishments, pass off your findings and contributions as their own and then lay you off. Post lay offs they will tell staff “this is the last round” and then do lay offs again a month or two later. Rinse and repeat. Bit off more than they can chew, most elite or competent workers left or were laid off. They will brown nose you post layoffs to try to make remaining employees feel secure... do not trust this. The CEO instead of wishing employees a happy Holiday season will tell you that you didn’t do enough this year for his numbers. Avoid at all costs.
