Vantaggi
I really tried hard to find something worthwhile ... but no Pros on this company at all!
Svantaggi
So I was selected to this company in a pool campus and among 600–700 ppl who attended the interview process I was the only one who got selected. There were a whopping 7 rounds and I cleared them all. I've been told that I'm a good programmer and I believe ever word of it. The company was invested in SAP technologies and according to many, the technology offered an alternate luxurious life after a few years. The starting salary this company offered was 10k/m. I was a fresh fish to this IT world and I had no idea as to how small that amount was. There were days when I didn't even eat anything for dinner and I have a migraine problem that the company later on thought it was something made up. They asked me to come on days I could hardly open my eyes!. Anyway, coming back to the story, the technology was very new to us freshers and needed a bit of training from the company in order for anyone to learn it. So they appoint Sir-boast-a-lot to teach us the technology. He has 5years experience and he doesn't know a thing about the technology. All he does is boss around the inexperienced. After a month of his so called training, each of us were asked to do a simple project to showcase whatever we learnt. No one builds a project which is good enough for the CEO. CEO decides to fire the whole batch openly in front of everyone . Now at this point we all were furious. We did whatever we learnt and we had learnt every bit of it from Google. So we raise a complaint stating whatever actually happened. CEO never saw our face again. I was pretty aggravated at this development and the way we were being treated. I wanted to leave the company on that very same day. But I didn't. That is the biggest mistake I did. A week after the firing incident, we were appointed a second guy to teach us ABAP(SAP programming language). We learnt many things from this guy. He was really good! In a span of year, I worked on one single project. I was the only developer for it and I did everything to impress the boss. It was a successful project. Even after this, I wasn't given any raise and I was stuck in that same salary and being bossed around etc. I was put into a project where in I was made to work till 3in the night and to go back to office at 9 in the morning for 2continious months. I wasn't given any OT. Wasn't given proper allowances to support my food and travel. After a month of this horrible treatment I decided to quit. I didn't know what I wanted to do. I was averse to the IT jobs because of such treatment but I loved programming and I still do. So I thought of pursuing higher studies and finding a job somewhere else. So I resigned stating that I wanted to pursue higher studies and that I would be serving a notice period of 2months. The company didn't respond to my resignation letter for 2weeks. After two weeks I was called to the HR room and was ordered to take back my resignation since I was under employment bond and that I have to be working for them until the end of that bond. I was shocked to hear that and I asked if they could email the bond that they're claiming I've signed. They refused to send it stating that they cannot send it. They refused to give the reason too. So I told them on their face that employment bond is illegal and is not enforceable. So they even threatened me that they'll be filing a legal case if I ever left the company. At this point I was torn to pieces and I literally had no clue as to what I should do. I plainly told them that I'll no longer be a part of the company after the end of my notice period and asked them to complete my exit formalities before that. They kept shut till the end of the notice period I had mentioned in my resignation letter and exactly one day after the end of my notice period they sent a reply to my resignation stating that my resignation wasn't accepted. The reason was not specified. Finally I had to bring in someone I know to get all my documents safely before leaving. Oh I didn't tell you guys right? This company kept my documents for over 1.5 years for verification purposes. So I was out of the company with my marks cards and I never set foot in that company ever again. PS: I still haven't received my relieving letter. They ask 1lk INR as a compensation for breaking a nonexistent bond in exchange for relieving letter. This company is horrible and I hope this answer of mine gets traction so that no one ever joins this painstaking company ever again.
