Vantaggi

Vegan office and you'll get free vegan food there sometimes.

Svantaggi

I've seen so many people entering this place like it was DisneyWorld and founding out shortly after that it's anything but. Favouritism is appalling and looking at their turnover rate speaks for itself, managers are rude, there's also not a nice atmosphere in the office. Everything is asked to be done at the last minute, good work isn’t praised (criticism on the other hand…) and there’s little room for growth, not to mention wage inequality. They will make you believe that your ideas will be put to use when it's still the same group that dictates everything. They also take ownership of victories of other organisations when it's a collective effort really, especially since sending out petitions and organising 5-minute demonstrations in the street just to get media coverage does not require huge amounts of donations. Honestly, if you want to be active for animals, you will do so much more by participating and organising events yourself, and donating to small charities that actually help animals.

Vantaggi

Coworkers are hard working, intelligent, dedicated animal advocates. I truly believed everyone was trying their best for to save the animals from horrific abuse. It was nice to be among people who understood what animals are put through and who were giving their all to help them.

Svantaggi

Challenging work environment with no concern for work/life balance. Low pay for emotionally difficult work. It felt very hierarchical. A lot of questionable practices, such as requiring employees to watch graphic abuse imagery as part of onboarding and begging employees for monthly donations to deduct from their salaries. Some campaign strategies felt unrealistic or lacking in evidence, so it could feel like we were wasting time and resources on projects that were not likely to have much pay off for the animals.
