I worked at POSIM for a little over five years. In that time, it started out as a wonderful place to work. The managers who led the tech support department, where I worked, were great. They had your back and it was a really collaborative environment. If you were interested in learning new skills, it was a possibility. I learned many, many things in those five years and met some wonderful people!
The customer base was also really nice and it was a blast working with some of the clients.

Management. After the new ones came in and new processes from old management were implemented, it turned into a call center factory instead of the help desk for the software we really were. The execs showed little care for improving our situation and my direct supervisor showed no sympathy towards my specific situation. After the years of effort I put in, I was unceremoniously let go without a real reason.
The management that was there when I was let go was a bit toxic and they made things feel somewhat hostile.
Additionally, the pay was minimal for the amount of work everyone put in, you never got enough PTO and the benefits were expensive for the given choices. Career opportunities were also minimal. I was an exception to that, rather than a rule.
