      Future employers don't ask why you left this company as they already know since there is a revolving door of assistants/coordinators. Great place to learn how to spot toxic behavior, too!!

      The employer, Amy, is so so toxic. She is contradicting, manipulative, petty, dramatic and not a mentor. Her directions are not clear, concise or even relevant to the work that needs to be completed. She is disorganized, frantic, neurotic and narcissistic. Do not waste your time submitting an application either. Her response to my initial application was so negative and aggressive.

      We are so sorry that this person had a bad experience. Our experience is that the owner’s attention to detail is what keeps things moving in pace with the fierce industry competition. The business is bespoke and boutique and the size of the firm is often a challenge for those looking to join the industry with no experience. This firm is very hands on from day one. That allows its hires to put their expertise, education, internships, and entry level positions to work straight away and have the chance to finally own the projects that they work on. That also comes with a lot of responsibility and the company does have high standards and hope that when they bring people on, they can work confidently and independently. As the firm manages the “work” not the “people,”, it’s not the right fit, for some, however the owner has a great heart and always looks for the best in people.

      I was always given clear direction. The strategy is always very creative. The most fun, energetic and open work environment. All my ideas were clearly heard, responded to (which is not always the case in this industry) Salary was generous. Had a lot of client contact (when in my previous experience most companies hide when they bring more people in) The work felt genuinely rewarding. If there was ever an issue my boss would confront it head on and she would be open to criticism as that's what allows people to grow. However, we were always able to collaborate and come to solutions.

      Owner is spread very thin, and tackles so many projects at once sometimes she just needs to be reminded to pace herself, it's not a sprint it's a marathon

      There are literally no pros. I am 100% sure Amy writes any positive reviews herself. The company consists only of HER, there is no "WE" in her stupid little company.

      Absolutely abusive and vile miserable woman who gets off on her perceived position of power. She has tiny small-time clients so you don't really get to see how the business runs because the clients don't matter and no one cares about them so you don't learn much, oh and on top of that the entire time she treats you like garbage.
