PSI is a great place to work if you're a self-starter, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have good self-management. The founders and executive team are warm-hearted people with a vision of the good the company can do in people's lives and the world at large (the company motto is "World Peace, One Mind at a Time"). Also, there really don't seem to be any office politics or power games -- at least not that I've encountered. Everyone seems genuinely interested in simply getting the job done and contributing to that in whatever way they can. People seem equally willing to step up or bow out, as needed. I also like that management seems very receptive to new ideas -- not locked into "that's how we've always done it." I think the best thing is that everyone seems to practice what PSI Seminars preaches -- a peaceful mindset, positive attitude, creating win-win outcomes, etc. That's more than just refreshing, it's uplifting.

I won't say the health insurance options are bad -- they just didn't suit my needs at all. For my purposes, I could get better coverage, cheaper, even after the employer contribution. Also, while communications are very open, there are some challenges. It can sometimes be very difficult just to get ahold of people, or information, or to get their attention focused on whatever you need from them. I suppose, though, that's true any time you have a geographically distributed team and everyone's has a full plate of their own work. Still, there's room for improvement there, and it can be particularly challenging when you first start, until you start getting the information and building the relationships.
