-to management you are no more then money makers that will work exactly when your told to. short notice or not. -want to talk to management good luck you will be dodged like the plague. You will be told that you will be called back...you wont, your emails will go UN-answered -want a raise good luck, the middle management is underpaid you really think they are going to give you money; however, you better work your little $11.50 self like you are making $15.00 or else.... -management will never take responsibility for their actions it will all get brushed under the rug this involves everyone from HR down. THIS IS STILL HAPPENING DESPITE THE "ITS DUE TO PAST LEADERSHIP" that past leadership is long gone and would have never got that far if the current uppers didn't turn a blind eye to what was happening. It must be hard turning a "large ship" when it is half way under water and sinking fast -scare tactics are used to get people to work, don't do favors for the boss then your hours will be pulled and you will be shunned. You will be ignored until you quit which is good for them because they no longer have any liability - you will get write ups for no reason at all, no warning of corrections that need to be made does not matter how hard or how long you have worked for them. Your loyalty to them is one way you are no more than a dollar sign to them. - many of the clients are rude and abusive towards the guards, management will take their side so they can keep collecting their meager profit margins. It does not matter if L&I labor laws are broken they would rather kiss the butt of the client. - you will be expected to travel ridiculous distances for ridiculous contracts and once again this is a or else situation training is a joke, 90% of the time the field supervisors don't know that they need to train you until it is too late. you will be scheduled to fill the shift and then forgotten, half the time you don't even get proper directions or orders for the post -want fair treatment and a company that will obey L&I and stand by their employees, you are looking at the wrong place. There are dozens of better places to work take a little more time and find one
