The Executive Management puts little faith or trust in supervisors or managers. They are so focused on the bottom-line that staffing levels keep dropping yet the volume and quality of work is still insisted to be met as if fully staffed. They are so blindly focused on worrying if they'll get sued by an employee, they do not listen or hear supervisors when offered geniune, tangible feedback as to how to improve. There are clicks and political factions that run so deep it is impossible to get ahead or recognized unless you are one of the "Executive's favorites" - from the CEO on down. They anoint they pets to position without posting those roles so no one else may compete. They continually lie and mislead staff as to the financial condition of the company including putting a horrendous "spin" on the latest sell-off of half the company to Legacy Health Systems. So long as the Executives who are nearing retirement protect their own overblown salaries, then supervisors/managers will continue to be ignored.
