I had a great experience interning with PacMin Studios. The office and production facilities are all located in the same building, so you very much have a hands-on experience with their whole production process. They were very flexible in terms of projects and assignments, and frequently asked me what I wanted out of the internship, allowing me to work on a variety of projects, with people from all departments. The whole team is super friendly, and very pleasant to work with.

It is hard to write any cons for the company. During my internship, the engineering department was short-staffed, so we were very busy, and deadlines were tight; however, overall I had a great experience with PacMin Studios.

If you like to create artwork for model airplanes, then maybe this is something for you to try among other things you have to do.

If you're thinking of going in as a Graphic Artist, think again. Think long and hard. It's not just the pay, it's everything that comes with the position. The minute you walked in, you're on the clock. From when you start working, taking lunch, and everything you do in between work. Every job has a budget; be sure you master the process of clocking in and out of every job because there's a series of barcode you have to scan before you're officially clocked out of the job. Also, you will be logging in all your jobs daily in a spreadsheet, from date, to hours, to God knows how many there are before you're done with one entry. Also, be prepared to be questioned weekly on your performance/status. Tracking performance is good, but the way they do it...you may want to consider cutting out your bathroom time. They want numbers at the end of the week, couldn't careless if you're sweating in the room with no ventilation. * Low pay. * Stressful. * High turnover rate. Sounds like they bring in a whole team of Graphic Artist every two years. * No upward mobility. * Poor management; too much favoritism. * Dysfunctional/Disorganized. Pacmin, if you can practice Kaizen, I'm sure you can practice 5S. * Work environment is poor. You'll be sitting in with all the other graphic artists in one room with no AC running. Unless, you like the sweaty glow at the end of the work day.
