Vantaggi
"Our job is to solve the customer's problem", said the CEO on my first day. Simple concept, and that's essentially what we do by selling cables. Looking back, I have no regret and enjoyed my 3+ years in Pactech. My learning was not on just how to build the cables, but rather was on how to run a business. CEO had provided me with plenty of opportunities and our company experienced tremendous growth during this time span. Don't get me wrong, work was hard; there were plenty of tasks and you had to be on top of everything. It was challenging but I got satisfaction from each successful case. You do need to be very detail oriented with high EQ to handle. CEO loves to sing, and I was probably the person that joked with him the most. Coworkers were the best, and we all cared for each others. We had many fun activities through out the year. Most of the time it's a fairly harmonic place to work. If you are a sincere person, you will make good friends here. This is also a place where you can build lots of strong professional networks in the bay area. You get what you put in, by being active you will get to know many people. For a small company, we were surprisingly blessed with many talented individuals. Again, you will receive great wisdom if you are willing to learn. I received lots of love and blessings from Pactech, and I'll forever treasure that.
Svantaggi
The turnover rate. As time went, my good battle mates went out one by one; it was not an easy decision for me to quit, but at last, it was my turn. People are the most important asset to the company. We have to treat everyone fair and provide continuous training. By doing that we should able to maintain more talents.
