Vantaggi
There are some talented coworkers who genuinely cared about their work and are great to be around.
The office was conveniently located near public transit and food amenities, which made commuting easier.
Svantaggi
Management plays dirty political games and has favorites that can do no wrong. Although, Leadership claims to make changes to help this.
The benefits are not comparable to most any other place to work and as a result are very expensive for the employee. PS. they lie about it during interviews.
The pay is below industry standards, with leadership expressing no actual raise increase beyond 2% after 1-3 years depending on your situation. The funding has been cut but other avenues have been mentioned/used. Who knows if it'll be here in 3 years.
Work life balance is good for some, hard for others because some people have a lot to do and others have nothing to do.
High turnover creates constant instability and stress. Investing in training for someone to quit or get laid off is strenuous.
Real feedback is ignored so you just stop, because you know it won't actually change anything.
