There are also many different ways to contribute to the company's success. Finally, the company is committed to each individual employee flourishing in their role.

There aren't many team-building activities and we don't hear enough updates on the company's performance during a particular period of time.

Great attention to work/life balance, tolerant towards working remotely/telecommuting. Small office lets you get things done very quickly (very easy to go to the person who knows the answer to your problem). Company is very encouraging of proactive employees who have their own independent ideas for how to improve things. Company is growing in a newly-hot space and business is good. Personal growth can feel a little stunted due to the small size of the company. Can get hectic at times - you might be doing 20 things but only getting paid for one. Management feels sales-oriented and overpromises to potentials, engineers are too few and overloaded. Benefits so-so, no 401k matching and must use PTO for sick days.
