Empowerment to do your job, high expectations, reasonable salary, benefits and conditions, travel opportunities (with my role anyway), career opportunities and supported training costs exist for those prepared to make the sacrifice of work/life balance (whatever that is), generally great people and policies are meant to be meaningful such as CSR ... I got paid monthly and got cost of living increases, in simple contract terms a fair exchange of payment for services delivered...and now I'm outta here!

Strategy, Leadership and Communication remain weak. Still a box shifting sales mentality with products that don't quite hit the mark anymore. Localisation is paid lip service and the senior guys know it! The clever ones can keep at the top by simply saying 'yes' to everything but then they lose their credibility...to climb the ladder within Panasonic is tough but not impossible. No real cons, just another typical multinational doing it's best in the current economic climate would be a fair comment.
