The work environment is extremely fast paced and challenging. Most people work on multple projects/programs that have delivery times linked to penalities for late delivery

Some of the downsides include insuficient people and equipment resources, which cause erratic project management and frustations, including a "put-out-the-fire" mentality. What project has the most visibility will get the most resources, leaving lower priority projects dangling until that projects priority changes.
