It's full of young, energetic people who care about the company and the product. You'll make good friends there. Work-life balance is good, good work atmosphere, and there are fun company events and parties. If you like global trade or SaaS industry, you'll have a lot of fun discussing the product.

They take months to collect on Accounts Receivable and commission is not paid to the Sales Development Executive rf the Account Executive until after AR collected - in most cases the commission isn't paid until 3 months after the sale at the earliest. Over 10 employees were laid off with no warning after investing themselves in setting up the new office, and it kind of killed the spirit for the rest of us who were left after that. Panjiva will ask you to do extra things for them and go out of your way to grow the company, but will not go out of their way to reciprocate the effort with a higher salary.

Other reviews have mentioned it, but Panjiva really is a great place to work because of the people. It's an open office layout, and people are very friendly and all generally get along. Many here are friends with one another outside work, and it's common for groups of people from different teams to get together for drinks or other activities outside of the office. The pay is very good when compared to other startups and small companies. The CEO values the talent here and you can tell that management cares about retaining good employees. Management has a very 'open-door' style, and they are generally willing to listen to the ideas of anyone within the organization regardless of title.

Strategic direction can be a bit impatient. A common recurring issue is that management will move onto the next item without focusing improving the core product. Power is consolidated to 3 major players in management, and there's sometimes a lack of transparency in terms of direction. Company is experiencing growing pains, which trickles down to vertical mobility, strategic decisions, and communication.
