Vantaggi

Great coworkers. I made many long standing working relationships and friendships. Happy that I made the choice to leave on my own and find a healthier company to go work for.

Svantaggi

Ridiculous, disorganized, and EXTREMELY unethical upper management. The owner will pretend to be your friend, but wont ever remember your name. That could be because the turnover is insanely high, but even after many years there... he still got my name wrong. I think that says a lot right there. You will also be measured on things like a project completing on time, however, in security you rarely are the one in charge of the timeline since this is construction. If the site has delays that cause your project to be delayed, it will count against your performance. This makes for unachievable KPI's and can hurt your ability to get pay raises.

Vantaggi

There are some great people to work with. Company outings can be fun.

Svantaggi

Departments operate in isolation, often attributing blame to one another. Advancement often hinges on conformity rather than questioning the status quo. Egos abound, requiring constant appeasement to stay in the loop. Projects suffer from poor planning and execution, leaving project managers to clean up messes that could have been avoided with thorough pre-sale discussions. Hopefully, this issue has been addressed, as it was a major headache for many PMs. Meeting KPIs becomes challenging when sales and engineering fail to accurately estimate labor hours, create precise bill of materials, or, in some cases, deploy untested technology in the field. ICOs and CCOs demand constant attention throughout the project lifecycle, often having a negative impact on the customer's perception of the company's competence.
