Fun, most colleagues are 1st/2nd job out of Uni so very youthful vibe. Socials are often & fun - make sure you save enough money for costumes as you'll need at least 2 new ones a month. Pay was okay, if you're in the sales team your OTE will be good (if you perform) but base salary will be far lower than the roles you're trying to recruit for which can get demoralising. Colleagues are great, fun people, usually because they're handpicked from assessment days for other sales roles with clients.

No autonomy to be creative with outreach, forced into cookie cutter scripting. You are what your number is that month. Call stats are released 3x per day & you are blasted if you don't hit activity goals. If you're a Graduate Manager, best believe you have to stay late on a Monday night. Most interactions with higher level salespeople are when it's their role you're recruiting for - comes across as very insincere. You naturally find yourself gravitating to being as efficient with applicants as possible since there is no CV screening, making it feel quite clinical. Start @ 8:45am, you better be dialling by 8:45.01am Poor Techstack & hardware - feels very boiler room. There's a lot of socials - sounds good but outside the bubble you see it's to distract from what is a very mundane repetitive job. Everyone I know who left has no doubt benefitted from working at Pareto, but is also substantially happier too.
