Work in amazing places with fantastic, passionate and hard working field staff

Senior managers from Area Chief Ranger upwards are pretty much the same cohort - white males in their 50s and 60s that got their jobs long ago and are stuck in the ‘good old days’. Job security is not what it used to be with regular restructures and more work becoming fixed term. Pay for hard working staff is too low, but they get away with it because people want to make a difference to their local parks.
