PartCycle is in some ways your stereotypical startup. Hipster commodities such as organic soap and trash bins labeled "landfill" can be readily found in the office, where employees work cozily at standing desks and occasionally gather around whiteboards to exchange bad drawings and enthusiastic hand gestures. But in all seriousness: Great work environment - Brandon and Andy have put in tremendous effort to create an environment that is human. They believe in results only, which means employees like myself are given a lot of flexibility about how they go about our work. Employees voices are always heard - everyone here works together as a team and as equals. I do believe PartCycle puts integrity before profits. They want to be successful, but more importantly they want to make sure they are always having a positive impact on their community - including their employees and their customers. Location - Florence is a hidden gem of the South. PartCycle is located in a beautiful town with lots of local activity, yet a low cost of living. Uncertainty - PartCycle is a startup that is still quite young and in the process of establishing itself. There is less job security here than there might be at a larger company simply because nobody knows for sure whether the company will exist in a year.
