Frequent changes in release schedules increase regression testing efforts and create repeated rework across testing cycles. Lack of proactive planning and insufficient testing timelines result in heavy workload pressure, limited work-life balance, and recurring expectations to work during weekends and holidays due to prolonged release cycles. The work environment often feels insecure for QA team members, with performance management practices creating unnecessary pressure and anxiety within the team. A recurring pattern of over-promising and under-delivering within the PLC QA process affects planning accuracy, execution quality, and overall team productivity. With changes in management across multiple levels, including the CTO level, the organization’s culture has gradually shifted from a product-based company to a more service-oriented company, impacting areas such as work-life balance, appraisals, and annual compensation growth.
