Risposta di Pathway (Canada)
5yI'm sorry that things didn't work out with Pathway.
I thought your interview went quite well. You had a strong command of English and seemed to be very sincere and authentic. I remember thinking that something in customer support might be a natural fit for you but you decided to go into sales.
Sales are driven by numbers and your numbers were not at an adequate level. Since you were an intern and not employed we had to make a choice whether to not hire you or to give you an opportunity as a Client Success Manager. Us extending your internship was not a financial decision but giving you one more opportunity to prove your value.
Unfortunately again there was a lack of initiative in the new role. After doing a formal performance review which included talking to the leadership team and some of your colleagues we came to the quick conclusion that we would not proceed with hiring you. You resigned before we met with you.
I do agree with you on lack or structure and procedures. As a small company of less than 50 people it’s difficult to have the structure of corporations with 1000 employees that some people require. This is why we do our best to attract people that can thrive in a startup environment. Somewhere where they can have real influence and be noticed. A place where hard work does get you promoted.
I’ll be keeping an eye on LinkedIn and rooting for you. I hope you find the perfect fit and bring some real value to your next employer.
