Vantaggi

The dev team is reasonably solid and there's a reasonable degree of latitude in what you work on. The dev team uses Scrum. There's good work-life balance. Mostly good/fun co-workers. Plenty of snacks if you know where to look. They now have some 401k matching, but no equity unless you're a special case.

Svantaggi

Over-all the company is experiencing serious growing pains at the moment (May 2017). I have no idea if it's going to get better over the next year or significantly worse. For Devs: Scrum is inconsistently implemented and the current preferred solution is "standardization", which seems like it could mean making all the teams work rather poorly instead of encouraging appropriate growth and experimentation. QA is practically always drowning in work so the work the developers do takes a ridiculously long time to get to production unless it's a critical failure, and QA doesn't accept help from others so there's not much you can do to speed things up. Also, some of the core applications are quite old and hard to work on without messing them up. There are ways to make this better, but all changes still have to go through QA, which is painful even if it does make sense with the delicacy of the applications. It probably won't be mentioned in your interview, but the core applications are basically written in 10-15 year old perl.
