You're working to benefit the shareholders. Every decision is based around the bottom line, even if it makes culture miserable.
No job security- everyone is replaceable at any time, and unofficial "layoffs" come without warning. You'll lose teammates, and they will never backfill that essential role.
Lack of executive vision across the organization and specific departments. It's the blind leading the blind.
CEO is not business-minded and is willing to run the organization into the ground before admitting that there needs to be someone with more business acumen at the helm.
Also, the CEO is the founder, CEO and president of the board. He has complete and utter control.

There's no flexibility or leniency on hours. It doesn't matter if you're working 10+ hours extra a week and skipping lunches. You better be there M-F from 8-5 every day. If you're late, you have to use your PTO.
You must conform. Don't disagree with your superiors, don't show emotions other than positivity, don't say "burnout" or "workload".
