Never ending tech debt pile. Main product is in dire need of TLC and isn't getting it. Instructed to just keep adding new features on top of a rotting framework. Benefits are getting worse as the months go on. C-Level is reaping high rewards while worker class gets nothing or as RSU are taken away with an already floundering stock price. Watching multi-year veterans walk out the door is never a good sign. Company culture has died and has been replaced by the usual soulless amoral corporate greed. Getting a promotion is basically impossible now, even if you check every box and do everything asked of you, you will be given a vague made up reason as to why you aren't ready to progress during your review. I'm tired of hearing Rachit's empty and meaningless words. Hard to ignore the correlation in decline of everything as soon as Rachit got the CTO position. How's that AmpItUp working for everyone? I guess as long as Slootman gets paid it's all good?

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
