To the brainwashed individual who stated people should be ashamed for leaving a bad review - I have already left a review about this company and was personally a top performer when I left. It really is an awful business to work for and I went into great detail as to why, but I will not allow the slanderous review go unanswered. So.... If you earned £75k (as stated) - that's £50k bonus and to get this you earn Payzone the following; *Your first £9k revenue generated per month you do not earn commission on so that's £108k per year you make Payzone straight away. *You receive a third of the revenue generated after this commission free £108k so you generate a further £150k to get this £50k bonus. So at this point you have generated £108k + £150k = £268k for your £75k total package. *It doesn't end there as each of the customers you generate for Payzone generate residual, I'll be fair and say the average is £20 per month, per customer. You will be bringing in 25 customers per month on average to get your £50k bonus so Payzone are getting a further £6k per month in residual from your customers a further £72k per year - you of course receive nothing. *So for those not to clever at maths we're on £108k + £150k + £72k = £330k per year for your £75k total package *Now remember they only allow you to sell 12 month contracts, industry standard is 4 years. So when they renew the customer contracts at 12 months you don't get a penny. Let's say they renew 80% of your customers and keep them for an additional 3 years. That's another £264k per year x 3 years = £792k .....So for the 300 customers you bring in a year (which is a huge amount) you make the company an initial £330k + a further £792k across the lifetime of the customers journey with Payzone = £1.12 million.....and you get £75k......and remember that's just 1 years worth of customers!!!! The question is why would you do this? I am now self-employed in the industry (I sell other things to) and receive average £550 upfront and around £30 per month per customer in residual. I now get over £2k per month in residual alone. If I bring in 10 customers per month I receive £66k per year in upfront payments and an additional £42k a year in residual (which of course increases with every customer) so £108k per year for considerably less customers, far, far, far fewer hours and considerably less travel and of course autonomy. I can also be far fairer and transparent with my customers. I can go as low as 0.25% on debit card and 0.6% on credit card and STILL get my upfront payments of £550 plus a small residual. This is with £0 PCI charge and £0 MMSC! We all know you will be pushing the 2% 'boom' package whilst trying to tie it in to a 'tariff' deal where you don't actually tell the customer what they pay per transaction!!! And you dare tell people they should be ashamed?!! I forgot to add the PCI above which you don't get commission on, another £50k a year you give away to Payzone......wake up Not only that I can sell any of the 5 terminal manufacturers available (Not just ingenico) and have 6 banks to place business with so nothing gets declined, whereas you have one! I also note you are in East Central region with a high concentration of business' and significantly less travel than rural areas - having worked in Birmingham and more rural areas I can comment on the difference. If you haven't you really have no idea what it's like to drive 150miles a day on behalf of Payzone to the ridiculous appointment schedule. So I hope I have opened your eyes and you will consider your opinions more carefully when commenting on the many negative reviews on Payzone. You should really take time to understand the industry you work in.
