Vantaggi

Management was very flexible when it came to balancing work and life outside of work. Benefits were excellent compared to the industry. some managers were excellent and a pleasure to work for but their power to promote was limited.

Svantaggi

They re-orged so many times you could never count on your manager being the same from the beginning of the year to the end.

Working on EdTech and helping improve educational outcome. Caring coworkers, altruistic & mission driven, etc.

Svantaggi

Pay is reasonable for working in the education field but is slightly lower than working in other parts of tech.

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
