Coworkers- the nurses (and front desk staff) that I worked with were wonderful! Made the job bearable.

High turnover rate- none of the nurses stayed, everybody left before or shortly after 1 year. Management- the practice manager was rude and never seemed to care about the employees personally. Benefits- the benefits were absolutely awful especially if you need to get insurance for your family. PTO- very slow to accrual and you had to use your pto for holidays even if the office was closed. Hard to find coverage- if you needed certain days off it was almost impossible to get somebody to cover for you AND the office manager has to approve first. No exit interview- I was not offered an exit interview.

Practice managers are concerned, practical, experienced, and savvy. They keep the practices running. Practice staff are dedicated, patient-focused, and work hard to keep up with changes. CEO is incredibly knowledgeable.

Svantaggi

High turnover in Central Business Office, both those who quit and those who are fired. High termination rate for new employees approaching their 90 day initial probationary period. Inconsistent performance objectives. Constantly changing last-minute projects. High amount of rework. Lack of understanding of scope for new efforts. Erroneous or creative client results reporting. Focus on acquisition of new clients without regard for staff capacity. No standardization across clients/separate processes and systems for each client. Can't say no to client requests. Overworked staff, sparse technical support, no work-from-home option. Upper management engage in turf battles. Employee conversations are recorded. Favoritism.
