Cafeteria benefits and PTO is good. Middle level managers are good and most upper level. Coworkers are good. Some departments still have a family atmosphere. HR is good at planning events and meetings. I think our executives would care if they knew how bad it got in IT.

The head of IT is out of touch with us and her staff of bosses. None of the top IT bosses support work life balance and we get different instructions depending on what boss you talk to then you get reprimanded when you turn something in. Many of us spoke up in our employee survey but we don’t see positive changes but if we make a small mistake they yell at us. They refuse to admit they make mistakes. They blame their mistakes on other people us or they find a different department never them. We waste time fixing mistakes because they don’t tell us what they want before we work. We turn work in later than planned because we have to correct problems cause by the bosses lack of communication then we upset people in other departments on how long it takes. Turnover is high because we are treated badly and when people leave the finger is pointed at them for all mistakes. It’s unprofessional unethical and stressful. If you worked at state farm you will have better opportunities if you didn’t you will have a hard time. They take credit when we do something good and blame if something goes bad. Goals move to fit their agenda it’s impossible to do a good job unless they want to use you to say they put improvements in even when they never touched the work and we didn’t change how we did it. They use fear of losing our jobs against us after layoffs. I’m afraid to talk to HR I still have kids in college and need my check.
