Svantaggi
Most customers are rude and don’t try to understand issues that arise with their vehicle and this is mostly because the company grooms the target customer into coming in with false advertising. They force employees to work all weekend saying “Saturdays and sundays are all-hands-on-deck” when those days are hit or miss when it comes to being busy and they write you up or fire you if you have life going on and can’t do weekends. Most equipment in the shop is outdated and doesn’t work When there is an issue with a customer vehicle not caused by the shop, the company will still side with the customer and possibly fire a mechanic or write them up The company creates new policies, procedures, promotions and other additions to the business operations and forces it on every location even if certain locations can’t accommodate for it. Customer only self scheduling is seriously flawed; if the shop is full for a day customers still are able to make appointments and when you can’t accommodate same day they put in a complaint and the company blames the shop The pay is okay but it doesn’t account for the mental stress you take on when you have no support from corporate members. In most cases your mechanics, advisors and manager in store is all you get help from. Once you go into a location, it’s you and your shop against everything You can advance quickly. Mechanics can become advisors or managers and vice versa as long as you have a somewhat good relationship with your area director
