4yIf you want to insult someone in the cannabis industry today for developing talent, being savvy or improving processes, you hurl the word corporate at them. But the reality is, that successful cannabis companies, including us at Perfect Union, take our cues from the lessons we learned in the early days. We sell trusted products at fair prices. We offer generous discounts. We teach budtenders and customers about the plant we are selling. We encourage everyone to ask questions and continue learning. We promote employees from within. We foster pride in achieving goals. And we support our team's right to join the union. Do we sometimes need to make adjustments to processes to prevent loss? Yes. Do we sometimes hire folks that don’t work out? Yes. Do we respect employee seniority as required by the union? Yes. These choices are not corporate, they are human. They keep our doors open to our community. If and when we need to let someone go, we seek to support them through the process. We acknowledge this is not an easy time. The pandemic affected all of us in ways we could have never imagined. We are proud of our management team and the wealth of support they offer to teams when making difficult decisions.
