I wasn't originally going to write a review, but after I saw the ratings that were already on here, I needed to set the record straight. First of all, "getting along" and "sucking up" are two different things. Employees who are good at getting along are promoted because the upper level positions are filled with calls from people that you have to... wait for it... SUCK UP TO. In other words, if you are "qualified", but don't handle people well, then no, you probably won't get promoted because dealing with people is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of the higher levels of the job. If they don't handle the situations well, they lose clients. Second, hard times fell in the economy, and I'm sure that there was a time things looked bleak. But to say a company isn't good because you got laid off? Sure, that sucks, but it happens. All the time. But right now things are looking up for the company. There ARE opportunities to climb the corporate ladder, if you are personable and "qualified". And even though the entry level positions are kind of menial and repetitive, they are the most necessary part - the part of the company that does what Perfect Serve was created to do. All in all, I'm glad of the time I spent at Perfect Serve. I left on no hard terms, I just "got an offer I couldn't refuse". If that offer hadn't come through, I would still be there. The management is solid, the other employees are very friendly, and I don't think anyone but a begrudged, disgruntled employee would ever rate this company 1 or 2 stars.

The entry level position is pretty repetitive. But as I said, it's also the part that makes the company go. This is also a very personable position, so you have to connect with people, or at least be polite even when you're getting chewed out for something that wasn't your fault, but in the end, that's really just a fact of life in any job.

Communication from management can be inconsistent at times, which occasionally creates confusion around priorities or direction. Additionally, not all hospital systems have the internal governance structures in place to fully implement and adopt the applications — this can make success feel out of your hands at times. That said, it's also an opportunity to become a trusted advisor and help clients build toward better outcomes.
