Staff are not recognised as human beings. I saw loads of used car sales staff not survivie their probation, some of whom had left other jobs to go to Perrys. It was an in house joke that it's not worth learning anyones name for at least six months. The Workshop was tatty and old, not what you would expect from a franchised dealership. I've seen a lot of back street garages with better equipment. The management rarely back up staff and always took the easy option. Management style is to bully staff and make you fearfull of losing your job, i was threatened so many times the threats lost all meaning. Bonuses, there's a subject. If you achieve bonus to often then it is restructure time. Whatever you do is never right, never enough. You are always wrong even if you can prove you followed procedure. It's not about being good at your job, it's about how much you suck up to incompetent managers and cover their mistakes. Perrys loves a good witch hunt, blame always has to be apportioned to the right person or the wrong, it realy doesn't matter to them. They will value a stapler more than you - they have to pay to replace a stapler.
