However, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, the promises made by HR about opportunities and inclusivity turned out to be nothing but a facade. The warehouse team at PetSmart will deceive you with promises of growth, only to exploit your labor to the fullest extent before discarding you like yesterday's news. Don't be fooled into thinking you'll climb the corporate ladder here; they'll keep shifting the goalposts until they find an excuse to terminate you. Management is shockingly incompetent. Instead of addressing the glaring issues within the company, they choose to bury their heads in the sand and blame the astronomical turnover rate on "hard work." In reality, the lack of support and the constant pressure to meet unattainable quotas lead to a revolving door of employees. If you're desperate for employment, approach this job with the same temporary mindset they have towards you. Work until you can't bear it any longer, then move on. But take my advice: steer clear of PetSmart. You'll find yourself facing unjust disciplinary actions for rules that were never properly communicated, forced to chase unattainable targets, and ultimately replaced with a new hire the moment you falter. Save yourself the stress and frustration. PetSmart is a sinking ship with a toxic work environment and management that couldn't care less about its employees' well-being or professional growth. Look elsewhere for a job where your hard work is valued and your future is respected.
