Lack of compassion. Since Stephen Holland took the helm the company has become very toxic. Upper management gossip about staff, never have their head in the store they are visiting. Training is over 3 hours away and when mentioning that some staff do not get home until 10pm a fake violin is played - by Stephen Holland. New staff are bribed to stay being offered more money than the loyal staff that have been there for years. Even staff with complaints about them and have not even been there 6 months being offered more money just so as not to cause a headache for the upper management. No wonder there is a mass walk out of staff when that becomes common knowledge. Minimum wage going up? The hours get reduced to compensate. Costs £1000’s to send staff on training rather than just performed via zoom, but decided to cut full time hour contracts from 39 to 37.5. This year they now have moved session to online - so it could be done.
