      Great PTO policy, sick time, fun events, the best 401k matching

      Most departments here are amazing. The Parts Order Desk is just poorly managed. There's no future planning (such as shift coverage, company events/meetings), poor communication or lack of communication, inability to stick with a plan, and unprofessional catty behavior. It's wildly inefficient with process issues taking months to address if they're addressed at all.

But it's regrettable to learn that you're not quite happy in your team and with the management.       Philips still has good people, meaningful healthcare technology, and a strong brand name. Many employees care deeply about the customers, the products, and doing quality work.

      The company culture has gone downhill. Management has become increasingly reliant on spreadsheet-driven decision making that often has little connection to real field conditions, employee workload, or customer impact. Priorities and goals change constantly, creating a desperate, reactive environment where employees are not given enough time to adjust before leadership shifts direction again. Morale suffers because teams are expected to execute against moving targets while leadership treats unrealistic planning as an execution problem.
