Vantaggi
You get to work in professional sports. Free tickets to games. A lot of good people across the company, just not the long-time ones in leadership roles.
Svantaggi
Most of the individuals in a leadership position have been with the organization for a while and they've created an environment that is, at most times, not enjoyable. I find their ethical standards to be questionable at best. One of them is married to her boss so if you have an issue with her, good luck telling anyone. Technically, it's not her boss anymore, but he was for many years and it's hard to get an idea of the organizational chart since the top people in the organization have given themselves promotions and title changes no less than two times each over the last year and a half. HR leadership is porous and you can't have any conversation confidentially. The president is a yes-man with no real leadership qualities and is largely laughed at across the league. In fact, most of our leadership have garnered that same reputation in the industry, unfortunately. A recent reviewer wrote that there were growth opportunities and I can say that is true in some areas of the business, but it is not a universal trait for this organization. Also, the "FAMILY Values" is a facade and no one really buys into that. It looks good on paper, but it's clearly the juvenile brainchild of HR leadership and the president. Laughable, really.
