I worked as a electric/software engineer in 2016, when Pi were developping prototype of the charging system. At that time team was kind of small, however all members were really motivated and skilled to release the world-first charging system to market. Although there were lot of technological challenges to build the prototype since no one had released this kind of products before, I personally enjoyed solving those with supports of other engineers as well as supports of CTO. We usually had weekly meeting with CTO, so I could convey opinions and ideas then smoothly put them into action in short period. In terms of team culture, people were really open minded and interested in what other members do. I guess the culture partially comes from person themselves, however it is also derives from management way of both CEO&CTO. They always cares about team atmosphere and try some company rules to improve a work environment. Although I left Pi for going back to home country, I was totally satisfied with my job itself and working environment at Pi.

I don’t have any cons to mention especially. Since it was an early stage of the company, all the engineer had been assigned to wide range of engineering tasks which relates to their main tasks. But I guess it is usual case for startups of early stage, and now the tasks would be divided up in much efficient way as Pi hired more employee.
